Welcome to GROW—Gospel Resources of the Week—from the editors of the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies.

Each week, the Plfaum Gospel Weeklies Faith Formation Program provides easy-to-follow, age-appropriate lessons and teaching guides. The editors created these resources to help you feel confident as you share the Sunday Gospel with your children. Our new teaching guides even break down our weekly lessons for 60- and 90-minute classes and five-day school plans.

The editors of the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies meet each week to share their favorite tips, activities, videos, and Catholic resources. Now we’ve gathered these resources here in GROW—Gospel Resources of the Week. We hope you will find these carefully selected resources timely, lively and relevant for your children. Some of the regular features in GROW will include:

Sunday’s Gospel Before you dive into your Plfaum Gospel Weeklies lesson for the week, spend some time with these reflections on the Sunday Gospel. Gospel at Home provides insights for children at every age, and is available in both Spanish and English. Print take-home copies or email a link to your families. Gospel at Home also includes a weekly family prayer or activity.

Saints and Seasons Each week, we select activities and background sheets for feast days and holy days. Use Catholic Resource features to boost your own knowledge, or print and share them with your families. Activity sheets can be used to keep children occupied and on task.

Gospel Videos Every week, we search for appropriate videos that reinforce and break open the Gospel message for your children. We keep them short—almost always less than five minutes. They are fully embedded here in the GROW blog for schools and parishes that choose to block Facebook or other sites.

Calendar We post what’s going on in the Church right now and keep an eye on what’s coming up next week. We included Saints days, feast days, and the start of new liturgical seasons. We also provide links to relevant activity and resource sheets.

One more thing: We will store all of the GROW resources here in one place. If you remember an old saint page, but didn’t download it—don’t worry. It will be right here when you need it. We hope GROW becomes a valuable, reliable resource.

At the risk of sounding cheesy—we want to GROW with you! Please use GROW to let us know what you’re doing in your classroom, what you could use help with, and how we’re doing! We’ve include editor’s biographies and email addresses so we can keep in touch.

God bless you and your children.  The Editors of the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies
