It may seem early to the average person, but for program directors and teachers, Advent is right around the corner! Pflaum offers a free Advent event plan for The Gospel for All Ages—Family Catechesis. The Sharing Our Gifts event focuses on the Scriptures for the Second Sunday of Advent; however, the plan can be used to host a parishwide gathering anytime during the season. The plan includes an introduction, Scripture overview, suggested schedule, and plans for food, entertainment, publicity, and a short prayer service and Gospel reflection. Kick off the new Liturgical Year by hosting a meaningful Advent event. Plans for the regular weekly gatherings for The Gospel for All Ages are also available through Advent.
