Summer Prayer Practice

Summer does not have to mean summer “slide.” These weeks can be the time for children to reset habits and make positive change. As classes end and the children head off to summer activities, remind them that they can add prayer into their days at any time. The About Prayer activity sheet will help them remember the common prayers of the Church, including the Lord’s Prayer, Hail Mary, and the Nicene Creed. Remind them that all of their prayers are listed in their What the Church Believes handbooks, which will go home with them at the end of the program year. The About Prayer sheet is available in English and Spanish.
