Who can participate in the Eucharist? What happens during the consecration? Why do we go to Mass? It’s essential that children understand why Catholics gather to celebrate the Eucharist. It’s especially important for Good News children, many of whom will receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in second or third grade. The Mass Puzzle, available in English and Spanish, walks children through the key reasons we celebrate Mass and some of the most important things that happen when we gather to share the Eucharist.
