Ask each child to commit to helping their parents at least once this week.Saints and Feast Days to Celebratel  October 1: Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus (Lisieux) – This popular saint called herself “God’s Little Flower.” She followed God in her “little way”—serving others through quiet acts of love. Ask: What quiet acts of love can you do today?l  October 2: Feast of the Guardian Angels – Share the Prayer to the Guardian Angel with the children. It can be found on page 25 of their Catechism handbooks.l  October 4: Saint Francis of Assisi – This patron saint of ecology loved all of God’s Creation. He chose poverty and trusting God over wealth and belongings. Ask: What can you do today to show God you love him and all he created?l  October 5: Saint Faustina Kowalska – This Polish saint had great trust in God’s divine mercy.
