Catholic Identity Project of the Week
One way we can live out our faith is to help one another. Talk to the children about how they can help one another clean up when they make messes in the classroom. Role-play how to ask for help and how to offer help politely.
● March 7: Saints Perpetua and Felicity – Perpetua was an educated noblewoman and new mother; Felicity, a pregnant slave. Imprisoned and martyred during intense Christian persecution in the third century, they are patrons of mothers and expectant mothers. Pray for mothers, especially those with young children and babies.
● March 8: Saint John of God – An orphan from the age of eight, John was a soldier, farmer, shepherd, and health-care worker. The group he founded became a worldwide organization that helps the sick, poor, and people with mental illness. Saint John of God is patron of hospitals, nurses, the mentally ill, and the dying.
