You might be surprised to learn that many common expressions like these have their basis in Scripture. The Bible in Our Everyday Speech lists common phrases and their biblical origins. Are you planning for a catechist orientation next month or a teacher in-service? This worksheet can provide the basis for great ice breakers or team games.
