I live very close to Lake Erie, in the Cleveland, OH suburbs. Last night, my daughter and I went to the beach to wait for the sunset. As I was looking at the horizon change colors from orange, to red, to the most splendid tones of magenta and purple, I found myself thanking God for his Creation.
The Responsorial Psalm for this Sunday, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, invites us to give praise to the Lord for the work of his fingers. “How wonderful your name in all the earth”, we say as we pray.
Let us enjoy these summer months and the beauty they present to thank the Triune God for creating us and for showing his love and care for us through the splendor of his works.
