The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. Pope Francis has invited all the faithful around the world to pray the Holy Rosary every day to ask Our Mother and Saint Michael the Archangel to protect the Church from the attacks of the enemy.

The Pope also invites us to include the invocation Sub Tuum Praesidium and the prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel, who helps us in our struggle against evil. The Pontiff urges us to ask our Holy Mother to protect the Church with her mantle, to defend her from the malignant, and “to make her more aware of the faults and the abuses committed in the present and in the past.”

Let’s join the rest of the Church and pray the Holy Rosary with devotion every day, including the following prayers:

Sub Tuum Praesidium: We Fly to Thy Protection

We fly to thy protection, O Holy Mother of God. Do not despise our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
