This Sunday, September 11 marks the 21st anniversary of terrorist attacks on the United States. On this day, 2,977 people were killed in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Pennsylvania. Without a doubt, this horrific occasion changed the way of life of the people in this country. But out of the terrifying events that occurred on that day, countless examples of kindness, humanity, and self-less love emerged to reveal God’s presence in the midst of unimaginable tragedy.
We pray on this day for those killed and wounded, for their families, and for the heroes who willingly gave their lives trying to aid their brothers and sisters.
Lord, take me where You want me to go.
Let me meet who You want me to meet.
Tell me what You want me to say.
And keep me out of your way.
