Untitled design (13)This Hoosier farm girl appreciates Jesus’ analogies to seeds and plants. Whether or not we have a green thumb, many of us have tried our hand at nurturing houseplants, container gardens, or a seed planted in a cup on the kitchen windowsill. We realize that there are many variables that affect a plant’s growth. In Jesus’ parable of the sower, he focuses on the quality of the soil. How are you using these summer months to enrich the quality of your “soil” so that your faith will bear much fruit—in your own life, in the life of your family and community, and in the lives of your students this fall? It’s not too late to begin!
