I like to think that I put God and my faith near the top of that list, but I know that doesn’t always come through in my words and actions, my desires, choices, and judgments. I think my marriage and family are near the top of the list, but I often choose work over family time. I think my health is near the top of the list, but I… You get the picture.
As our “lazy” summer days wind down, it’s a good time to reflect on the things we most value and the amount of time and energy we give (or don’t give) to them. As we prepare to begin a new school/program year, I pray that we all start fresh with a new sense of our priorities and a renewed commitment to balance and authenticity in our lives.
