Thursday, November 25, is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. While not a Church holy day, it serves as a helpful reminder to give thanks to God for all the gifts and blessings in our lives. In the Letter of James, we read: “[A]ll good giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17). Foster an attitude of gratitude in the children under your care. Use these activities in connection to Thanksgiving—or any day of the year!

Is there a “Give Thanks Every Day” activity page for Promise? There are two for Seeds.
We don’t have one for Promise in this year’s collection. You might look at those offered for Seeds and Good News to see if one of them would work for your Promise children. Here is one we offered for Promise in 2020-21: A Thank-You Prayer / Oración de acción de gracias. Here is one we offered in 2019-20: We Thank God for Special People / Damos gracias a Dio por las personas especiales.
