Americans celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November (11/28). Although it’s an American holiday, the celebration of Thanksgiving is deeply rooted in faith. Gratitude for our blessings is one of the many virtues we seek to cultivate in children. Pflaum provides a number of free activities for use in the classroom or to assign as take-home work when your class is not in session. The activities are available to download and print or to share the link with families.
Activities that focus on thanking God include:
- Seeds: A Thank-You Prayer Puzzle (English and Spanish)
- Promise: We Thank God for Special People (English and Spanish)
- Good News: A Family Thank-You Prayer (English and Spanish)
- Visions: Thanking God at Every Mass
