It may seem early to the average person, but for program directors and catechists, Advent is right around the corner! Pflaum offers a free Advent event plan in both English and Spanish as part of The Gospel for All Ages—Family Catechesis. The Lord Is Coming! / ¡El Señor viene! event is based on the Gospel for the First Sunday of Advent (English, Spanish), but this event can be a parish-wide gathering anytime during Advent.
The Lord Is Coming! / ¡El Señor viene! event plan includes an introduction, Scripture overview, suggested schedule, and planning suggestions for food, entertainment, publicity, and a short prayer service and Gospel reflection. Kick off the new Liturgical Year by hosting a meaningful Advent event. Weekly Gathering Rituals for The Gospel for All Ages for the weeks of Advent and and into 2023 are also available (English, Spanish).
