SUNDAY’S GOSPEL—January 27, 2019 – 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Luke 1:1–4; 4:14–21

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus says he fulfills the words of the prophet Isaiah. He is chosen to bring good news to the poor, sight to the blind, and freedom to captives. Those who follow Jesus are called to continue his work of mercy, love, and acceptance.

Lucas 1, 1–4; 4, 14–21
