Luke 1:1–4; 4:14–21

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus says he fulfills the words of the prophet Isaiah. He is chosen to bring good news to the poor, sight to the blind, and freedom to captives. Those who follow Jesus are called to continue his work of mercy, love, and acceptance.

Lucas 1, 1–4; 4, 14–21

En el Evangelio de esta semana, Jesús dice que cumplirá las palabras del profeta Isaías. Él ha sido elegido para traer la Buena Nueva a los pobres, la vista a los ciegos y la libertad a los presos. Aquellos que siguen a Jesús están llamados a continuar su labor de misericordia, amor y aceptación.
