COVID-19 Service of Remembrance and Prayer

COVID-19 Service of Remembrance and Prayer

Please join us and the Assumption University community as we gather in prayer on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. EDT.

This time of prayer will take place a little more than a year after the first reported death from COVID-19 in the United States (February 28) and almost exactly a year after Assumption and many other schools across the country transitioned to remote learning for the Spring 2020 semester. It is an opportunity for members of the Assumption community—and others—to gather in prayer and remembrance of the many people who have died from COVID-19, including family members, friends, and alumni/ae of Assumption. We hope you will join your prayers with ours as we both remember and look forward with hope.

The prayer service will be live-streamed at

Assumption University is a Catholic institution in Worcester, MA. It is sponsored by the Augustinians of the Assumption, the same religious order that sponsors the ministry of the Pflaum Publishing Group, Twenty-Third Publications, Creative Communications for the Parish, and Novalis in North America. These companies join many others throughout the world under our parent company of Bayard, Inc.
