Jesus says Heaven is like a rare pearl and so precious we would want to give up everything to have it! This parable also helps us to realize that to God, we are that pearl. Jesus gave up his very life because he thinks we are precious too.
Besides being hit by the Coronavirus pandemic, our country is going through civil unrest fueled by social injustice, hatred, and prejudice. We should remember that every person, no matter their skin color, religion, sex, or social status, is precious to Jesus. Let us keep in mind that Our Lord and Savior considers each and every one of us as PRICELESS.
